Common Questions
How much does a patio cost on the Gold Coast?
It depends on size, roof type and how it attaches to your home — a gable costs more than a flat roof, a flyover more than a standard attached patio. That's why we quote from a real site measure: you get a fixed price for your home, not a range that moves later.
How long does a patio take to build?
Most of our patios are built in 1–3 weeks, with the on-site work often under a week. Council approval adds lead time up front, which is why we start that paperwork immediately after you accept the quote.
Do I need council approval, and who handles it?
Usually yes — and we handle all of it. Application, engineering and certification are included in your fixed quote. You don't deal with council at any point.
How does payment work?
A flat $1,000 deposit secures your build and starts approvals. The majority is payable at the final measure before materials are ordered, and the balance on completion — when the job is finished and you're happy.
Why do you only build insulated roofs?
Because a patio is only worth having if you'll actually use it. Under a Queensland summer sun, a plain steel roof radiates heat straight down onto you and drums loudly in the rain. An insulated panel blocks that heat, keeps the space noticeably cooler and quieter, and gives you a clean ceiling underneath for fans and lights. It's the roof we'd put on our own home, so it's the only one we build.
